Britive Team

Moving quickly to ramp up both its direct and channel sales and marketing in 2021 to support already rapidly accelerating sales, Britive has appointed three cloud security marketing and sales veterans to lead its go-to-market efforts.

Martin Johnson, VP Marketing

Martin Johnson joins Britive as VP Marketing, responsible for developing and implementing Britive’s marketing strategy, building out the marketing team, and driving the company's overall go-to-market efforts and brand. Curt Krazer has been selected to build sales in the Eastern US as RVP, East, while Paul Casarez has joined Britive to run sales in the western US as Director Sales, West.

Johnson is a 17-year cybersecurity veteran with extensive experience building cross-functional go-to-market and product marketing teams and creative marketing strategies for some of the fastest growing cloud security startups, including Zscaler (NASDAQ: ZS), Elastica (Acquired by BlueCoat/Symantec) and Polyrize (Acquired by Varonis).

Over the past 17 years, cybersecurity has gone through profound changes, but none more challenging than the recent emergence of identity as the new perimeter. As users increasingly work-from-cloud, the proliferation of human and non-human identities, and their diverse permission sets cross-cloud, vs the limited identity and permission sets of on-prem networks, have proven a tremendous challenge for SecOps, CloudOps, and Devops teams to manage and secure. Britive’s vision is to build a cloud-first, Zero-Trust, Dynamic Permissioning Platform that delivers cross-cloud identity and permissions management capability for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and DaaS services to help organizations uncover privilege-based risks and reduce the blast-radius of their uncontrolled identities and privileges. I am thrilled to be part of articulating and evangelizing this vision.

With Britive, Security, CloudOps, and DevOps teams can now zero-in on their unused and highest risk privileged identities for elimination, uncover overly-broad privileges for right sizing, and investigate risky activities for mitigation. And, as the only cloud vendor capable of Just-in-Time (JIT) cloud access management, Britive enables organizations to grant just the right level of permissions to users and grant dynamic API keys - only when they need them. This is especially critical for DevOps teams, since without multi-cloud capable just in time access permissioning, security protocols and workflows are often the barriers delaying or preventing DevOps dynamic access.

Curt Krazer, RVP, East

Curt has driven technology sales at three companies over the last 21 years, including EMC2 (DELL), QUEST (DELL), Centrify (Thoma Bravo) and now Britive. In his most recent role as RVP at Centrify, Curt managed the East and Mid-West regions.

I'm proud to say, I built an amazing team in the East that helped Centrify to a healthy exit with Thoma Bravo, and I am confident my team will do the same for Britive given the critical need for our platform in the market.

Curt spent the first 9 years as an independent contributor at Centrify bringing in over 400 new logos in the Northeast. He is looking to bring that same effort to Britive with Britive’s market leading Cloud PAM (privileged access management) technology.

Paul Casarez Director of Sales, West

Paul has 20+ year’s experience as a Technology Account Executive professional, beginning at the ultimate training enterprise sales training environment of Oracle. He soon navigated down the tech stack of Servers, Storage, Networking, and Virtual OS to build the first Application Service Provider services platforms; the predecessor to modern SaaS applications. Through time spent as a VAR AE, a Vendor AE, and an ISV AE, he developed a strong focus on building and managing channel strategy as a force multiplier within his assigned territory.

More recently, Paul’s focus has been on applying enterprise sales methodologies to help establish and grow pre-IPO sales organizations to achieve success in emerging data perspective and protection markets.
